Whoopi Goldberg reflected on her friendships with Robin Williams and Christopher Reeve in a conversation with Reeve's adult children, Matthew, Alexandra and William, during the Thursday, Sept. 19 episode of "The View.

"The View" host said that she was "lucky enough" to know both of the late actors in her lifetime. Whoopi Goldberg is looking back at her friendships with the late Christopher Reeve and Robin Williams.

Directed by Peter Ettedgui and Ian Bonhôte, “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story” premiered at Sundance and is slated to get a wider release in San Francisco starting Sept. 21. Theaters should be handing out tissues at the door, as there’s nearly a 100% chance that audiences will be brought to tears.
