I use OpenCode over Claude Code, and it's every bit as good
Beat-for-beat, feature-for-feature.
To be clear, it will still be possible to use Claude models like Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku to power OpenClaw and similar external agents, but users will now need to opt into a pay-as-you-go or API.
Users can still access OpenClaw with Claude models, but only through additional paid usage bundles (now offered at a discount) or by using a full Claude API key, which follows pay-per-token pricing.
