24. Nov 4, 2006. #1. Ok I have decided on the btc-15. Now for programming software. Scannersoft.com has a bundle package with full version of scan control for $259. Was wondering what is the better & easier to use software between scan control and the butel arc-15 software?

Oct 19, 2024 · A clean install will surely run your SDR software like before when it was pristine. Yes, I did have to do a complete brand new reinstall of everything after that incident. It's running Windows 10, but I have been unable to locate a good, usable download of that "EXTIO-DLL" plug-in -- none of 'em seem to work.

Mar 17, 2019 · I also see that some 281A owners prefer to use the CHIRP software over the Kenwood software. Any advice on these subjects will be greatly appreciated. Kenwood TM-281A 144 MHz Mobile 65 Watt. Excellent radio, bought 3 from MTC. The software they sell if great, and even less expensive than Kenwood's cable alone.

Sep 20, 2016 · The FT2900 is easy to program from the front panel without the need for a PC and software and having to worry about if you have the correct prolific USB drivers, unlike the chicom radios which most really do require a PC to setup. If you're programming lots of frequencies, the computer is the better way to go.

Oct 25, 2020 · EZScan is extremely powerful and simple to use. It has some limitations due to DRM placed on the developers. The reason people have initial problems with EZScan is the people not the software. If you take the time to understand the architecture of the radio you are trying to program then the software is very intuitive and powerful.
