Hoof health is important in a cow. If the hooves grow too long or uneven, it puts pressure on the wrong parts of the foot. That can lead to: • Pain • Lameness • Infections like foot rot • Difficulty walking (which means less eating, less weight gain, and lower milk production) Trimming keeps the hoof balanced, removes cracks or built-up dirt, and helps prevent bigger issues down the road.
