On November 18, 2012, 13-year-old Dylan Redwine flew from Colorado Springs to Durango for a court-ordered visit with his father, Mark Redwine. He didn’t want to go — their relationship was tense. During a previous visit, Dylan discovered disturbing photos on his father’s laptop showing Mark wearing women’s underwear and clothing , a diaper, and engaging in extremely graphic, fetish-related acts involving feces. He told his older brother, Cory, who confronted their father, causing major tension.
