Why Your Fade Isn’t Fading. A fade starts with how the hands and body work through impact. In this lesson, we’re cleaning up a pattern of tilting back and “throwing” the club—moves that force a flip and make a true fade impossible. To hit a consistent fade, the hand path has to work more around the corner, and the body and pivot have to work left through the ball.
