Motel 6 Commerical Structure Fire On 12/29/2025 at 5:44 a.m., Southgate Police and Fire were dispatched to 18777 Northline rd Southgate, Michigan(Motel 6) on a report of heavy smoke near room 215/ front office area. Upon arrival, the heavy smoke turned into flames coming from the roof line of the east building. All motel rooms have been cleared and everybody has been accounted for. There are no fatalities.
