1979: Pooh Sticks played by the real-life Christopher Robin. It’s National Winnie-the-Pooh Day which commemorates author AA Milne, and "the bear of very little brain" who became a beloved character to many. Through the stories, generations of children grew up playing ‘pooh sticks’ and in 1979 the bridge that was the inspiration for the game was rebuilt as a memorial to Milne.
