SAA (Serum Amyloid A) is one of the fastest and most reliable markers we use to track inflammation in horses. When a horse is fighting a serious infection like this case of bone infection, we don’t guess if treatment is working. We measure it. A simple blood test tells us where the inflammation levels stand.
