THE STORY OF SEVEN LIFES I recognized my songwriting gift at the age of 9 in 1977. I started taking it seriously at the age of 13 when I began writing the songs down in a notebook. Since then I have written many hundreds of songs. Some of these songs start off as melodies, some as poetry, some - like Seven Lifes - come almost fully formed. I have always loved walking. Many of you have probably seen me out and about in Lagos, Ibadan or Abeokuta, etc., taking my leisure walks. Many of my songs are
