The Metro Tunnel is officially OPEN Just rode the brand-new Metro Tunnel from Town Hall to State Library, and honestly… this is the Melbourne we’ve been waiting for. The stations, the design, the speed — everything is on another level. This tunnel is going to make everyday travel so much smoother for everyone moving through the CBD. The Metro Tunnel will open on November 30, bringing major changes to the way we travel. I recently took some of our wonderful community leaders on a tour of Arden Station - one of five brand-new stations about to open as part of the project.
