The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has changed its withdrawal rules. Now, if an employee loses their job, they can withdraw up to 75% of their EPF savings immediately. The remaining 25% can only be taken out after one year of continuous unemployment. Earlier, members could withdraw the full amount after two months.
