A small plane crash in Castle Rock temporarily shut down traffic Monday evening after a Piper single-engine aircraft made an emergency landing just feet away from homes and a nearby power station. The pilot told officials the plane lost power shortly after taking off from Centennial Airport and realized they couldn’t make it back. With three people on board and around 40 gallons of fuel, the pilot managed to bring the plane down safely. Fire Chief Norris Croom said the plane clipped the back of
