Air Force Research Laboratory - AFRL has the only human rated centrifuge in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and it's located here at Wright-Patt. The centrifuge provides initial and refresher training for all United States Air Force fast-jet aviators and allows them to experience up to 9 Gs, or nine times the normal force of gravity. This important training has not stopped during the coronavirus pandemic to ensure USAF aviators are ready for high-G flight. | 88th Air Base Wing
