Joined students from Punggol Green Primary School for their lively Racial Harmony Day celebrations this morning. I met students from different races who have been longtime friends as they bonded over common experiences, and am heartened to see such bonds developing at a young age. It is an important day to reflect on our multiculturalism, history, experiences and values. We also need to empower our youths to remain open and inclusive so that we can all benefit from a strong and cohesive society
