Pulling onto a run-down, unkept property and seeing the “kill pen” babies that had been “rescued” trying to survive under unthinkable conditions. So the babies - 8 foals YES EIGHT FOALS!!!!!! And one beautiful mare (thought to be imminently “due”) were loaded on two trailers and transported to Hope.
