A beautiful morning walk to Hurston Stone Row, one of the best examples of a double stone row on Dartmoor. Along the way we also explored three different types of heather, sundew and sphagnum mosses, ‘star jelly’, field mushrooms, a valley mire and its associated pretty brook; abundant hawthorn trees, ‘string of sausages’ lichen, the remains of tin-mining, boundary stones, and more. We were accompanied by sun, rain, rainbows and stunning views for miles up towards North Devon. The walk was offer
