Growing Maize brings us so much joy!! It cultivates a tremendous wonder and gratitude for this sacred food; And especially for the native people, traditions, and wisdom keepers of North Central and South America; and for the land that guides and holds all of us. On one hand (growing a few hundred corn) It's just child's play, really... but on the other it's a step towards remembering how to live. We keep going each year.
