I compared the iPhone 16 and Osmo Pocket 3 at Arches National Park. Shooting in D-Log M at 10-bit made the Pocket 3 footage look more cinematic and more dreamy, especially in the reds, highlights, and textures of the rocks. The iPhone 16 is still super convenient, but using the Pocket 3 as a dedicated vlogging camera gave me more flexibility in post and a softer, more cinematic result overall.
