Schluter DITRA-HEAT thermostat installation tips…I connect the ground braid to the Romex ground with a wire nut. The 12/2 Romex wires go into the Line terminals, hot goes into L1 and neutral into L2N. The heat cable wires go into the Load terminals and the sensor wires feed to the C and D slots. Always follow your local electrical code and work with the breaker off!! So naturally, we were super excited to see Schluter Systems has now come out with two new peel & stick floor warming membranes DITRA-HEAT-PS and DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS These peel & stick membranes are super simple to install. All you have to do is remove the transparent release film from the fleece side of the membrane and adhere it to the substrate. You can even reposition the membrane before you apply pressure —how great is that!
