For many years I would hear Gregg Allman warming up on acoustic with this tune. I was convinced it was something new he was working on and didn’t bother asking. Until one day when I heard some of the lyrics more clearly and got very curious. It was a Tim Buckley tune, songwriter that Gregg loved and had befriended.
