Why I Love The Crockpot.. The crockpot might be the greatest invention ever made for meal prep. I always tell my patients to keep it simple. It’s easy, minimal prep, and somehow makes chicken and rice actually taste good. This one’s a favorite of mine: chicken, taco seasoning, and lime juice. Cook low and slow in the crockpot for 3 to 4 hours or 5 to 6 if you’ve got time. Serve it with lime cilantro rice and a quick yogurt sauce made from yogurt, lime, and cilantro. Everything’s freezer friendly
